Dr Maria da Costa is a Sydney-based GP with a special interest in women’s health and travel medicine. She was born in Portugal and moved to Australia in her teens with her family. She completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney. She has been serving the Ryde community and still works in the Sydney CBD. Her experience includes public hospitals, virtual care, remote clinics across Australia, and Volunteer work in Timor Leste. Maria lives locally in Ryde with her family and a spirited rescue dog.
